Mental Health Education
In order to strengthen the school's mental health education, improve students' mental quality, cultivate students to develop good mental quality, and promote the healthy growth of students' body and mind, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High School Division of the east campus has carried out class meetings with the theme of mental health education in each class.
To start with, according to the actual psychological situation of students in class, each class gave full play to students' subjectivity, took students as the center, and explored their psychological development through case analysis, video sharing, organizing students' discussions and other forms, carrying out multi-angle and multi-dimensional development from three aspects as follows: what is mental health, how to adjust the mentality, and how to manage emotions, so as to stimulate students' enthusiasm. Evidently, vivid cases and philosophical psychological bookmarks let children know the significance of mental health and understand more about mental health knowledge.
After the class meeting, the students expressed one after another that they benefited a lot. For one thing, mental health education is a far-reaching work, which means carrying out the work of mental health education not only needs the courage to explore, but also needs the determination to act. Thus, we must constantly innovate and improve in our actions. For another, Anqing Foreign Language School will be committed to exploring ideas, ways, contents and models suitable for school mental health education to further develop students' good psychological quality to let every heart and sole be full of sunshine. More noticeably, we must escort students’ mental health, and let them grow up  healthily in care!
